Growth of calcium carbonate crystal on various substrates from a saturated calcium carbonate solution utilizing difference in solubility

چکیده
Crystalline calcium carbonate was deposited on various substrates (substrate temperature of 80 °C) from a saturated hydrogen solution (solution 10 °C). A single aragonite phase the Al substrate, whereas mixed and calcite grew soda lime glass, borosilicate silica polycarbonate substrates. With increasing deposition time, crystal size proportion silicate glass substrate increased. Furthermore, crystals were preferentially an with thin film Au as buffer layer (Au/Al substrate).
